Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Techno Cop for the SEGA Genesis developed and published by RazorSoft.

Things got a little more violent on the Genesis than the Super Nintendo, and few games proved it as forcefully as Techno Cop. This hybrid action game combines two distinct genres into one gratuitously violent experience. Players drive from mission to mission, playing what feels like a racing game, until they pull over to stop the next crime. That’s when the game turns into a side-scrolling shooter. Enter the building, kill the perps and track down your primary target before heading back to the car and driving to the next crime scene. Video games began pushing the limits of accepted violence in the late eighties and early nineties, and few games pushed it harder than Techno Cop.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Techno Cop for the SEGA Geneis and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
