One of the first "crossover" fighting games, The King of Fighters '94 combined combatants from SNK's established Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting series, as well as some outlying titles like Ikari Warriors and Psycho Soldier. They all come together at the behest of Rugal Bernstein, a shady character with hands in weapon and drug trafficking. He's spoiling for a fight, and if you're gonna fight, you'd better fight the best.
