Being a sequel in name only, Far Cry 2 takes the series off the island and gives it a new location and main character. You are in Africa with a mission to assassinate the local arms dealer. The game has a focus on realism, with guns that will wear down and fall apart, and also healing yourself by pulling the bullets out of yourself with pliers. The world is large, and you will drive across it for objectives. This is a unique take on a genre that needs new ideas.
