Need for Speed: Shift review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Need for Speed: Shift for Playstation 3.

This entry in the series shifts the focus from being an over-the-top arcade racer to a simulation racer. You go through the career mode, earning cash and stars which you use to unlock more races and buy/upgrade your cars. The racing rewards you for both racing aggressively and carefully, allowing you to race the way you want to race. The problem is it is not "simy" enough for hardcore racers and not "arcady" enough for more relaxed gamers. It gives a good combination of both and makes for some fun racing.
