CGS - Red Faction - PC Game Review
9Red Faction was developed by Volition and published by THQ in 2001. Volition were originally developing Descent 4, but it got cancelled and the engine which became Red Faction's GeoMod engine was used, the main characters name Parker also stayed the same. The developers were inspired by the 1990 movie Total Recall and wanted to make a game that took place on Mars.
One of my favorite first person shooters, I actually just got this game in box again recently. I had it as a kid then somehow lost it, so I was stoked when my friend David gave me his PC game collection and one of them was Red Faction!
