Today I check out the flash game 1066. Based on the historical war that took place in that year in England.
We play the first battle in story mode as the Vikings led by Harald Hardrada. I get a little cocky as vikings are wont to do and decide to play on hard difficulty.
Bilbo's voice is amazing during the cut-scenes, the music is superb, the varied mini-games are both challenging and fun and it's all topped off with a historically accurate plot line and subtle tactical strategy.
For a simple flash strategy game that is free and that you can beat in a day it's quite impressive.
