Chibi-Robo: Plug into Adventure (Blind) - Finale: Unlimited POWER!
2In today's episode of the "Chibi-Robo!" playthrough, we save the house by defeating the Spydorz's queen, repair Giga-Robo, see him receive unlimited battery power from the aliens, a gift that he's more than happy to share with us, and achieve the rank of Super Chibi-Robo.
After defeating the remaining Spydorz in the foyer, we're confronted by the Spydor Queen, the largest, strongest Spydor that has taken the Sandersons hostage and is in possession of Giga-Robo's missing leg. So if we want to have any chance of saving the house and family, we'll need to blast her into submission.
Thankfully, despite her menacing appearance, the Spydor Queen isn't much harder to fight than a regular Spydor. Sure, the queen has more attacks at her disposal and way more health than her minions, but if you keep moving and blasting her, you'll be fine. However, that's not to say that this fight's a cakewalk. On the contrary, if you haven't taken the time to raise Chibi's rank and get a few bonus batteries, then there's a good chance that you won't have enough power to win the fight since there's no way to recharge midbattle. So in a way, the kinder you've been to the characters that we've gotten to know over the course of the game, the kinder the game will be to you during the final boss fight.
And speaking of helping characters, with Giga-Robo's missing leg in our possession, we're finally able to repair him, which rewards us with a wholesome cutscene in which he triumphantly leaves the basement, with us atop his shoulder, and makes his way to the backyard as the Sandersons and all of the toys (except Funky Phil) cheer. Though the toys and the Sandersons aren't the only ones who are happy to see Giga-Robo up and about because the aliens arrive to give him unlimited battery power, which he gladly shares with us.
And as if things couldn't get better, we've finally achieved Chibi-Rank 1 and earned the title of Super Chibi-Robo. So now all that's left is to tie up some loose ends with the remaining questlines while collecting a few other stickers in the process.
