Chrono Cross is one of the most polarizing RPGs from the PS1 era due to some gameplay mechanics and its relation to Chrono Trigger, or lack of relation you could say. Some people absolutely love it and consider it one of the best RPGs of all time; other people hate it and want nothing to do with it. This retrospective analyzes both sides of the argument and sees just how well this Squaresoft classic holds up more than 20 years after it initial release.
