Chrono Trigger PC - Final Battles & Ending (Ending #1 "Beyond Time") (Save File In Description)
25This is the PC/Steam Edition of the game. Done at Level 70. First time I've really played this game through from beginning to end since I was a little kid. I call my character and equipment combination "The Trinity".
The PC version of the game is a port of the DS version. It had a rough start at release (as with so many ports out there), but after five big patches and a bugfix, I think the game is great now.
Maybe they should make the health bars on characters toggle-able and make the old SNES interface and translations an option for people who prefer it (though the DS translation is far more accurate). But that's all.
Some people still find reasons to complain and most of them are extremely nit-picky and subjective at that. I'm simply happy to have the DS-expanded Chrono Trigger available to play in my library at any time right on my PC, no emulator or other nonsense required.

Save Slot 0 (Autosave / Resume) - Same as Slot 1 but Inside Lavos, skipping the fights against the Queen, Mammon Machine, and Lavos' Shell. Use this save to go directly to fighting the Lavos Core.

Save Slot 2 - End of Time
Save Slot 3 - HACKED SAVE - Final Room of the Black Omen, but all characters Strength, Speed, and Magic have been maxed-out with capsules (which I hacked the game to give myself unlimited capsules for this). I figured it'd be a neat thing to include, but of course don't use it if you're against using a hacked game.
The saves are all before a New Game + has been attempted, with all of the ultimate equipment possible at that point (no DS-Exclusive ultima weapons, you need to get those in the New Game +), all sidequests complete, 99 of all usable items (except capsules, for the non-hacked versions) and 9,999,999G.
Skills-wise, I only have all skills unlocked for SOME of the cast - I really mostly just played with Chrono-Marle-Lucca throughout, so not all combinations were used throughout the game. However, at level 60+ like this, the abilities for whatever combination of characters you choose will unlock immediately if you just engage in a few battles with them.
A great save for if you bought this game and prefer to go straight into a New Game + right away without having to do that first playthrough first.
I plan to make another save when I get to the endgame in a New Game + after finishing all the Dimensional Vortexes, just before the Dream Devourer at Level 99. That'll be the true endgame save. Though, that save would be rather boring really, unless you really just want to skip the whole game and just fight the Dream Devourer.
