Classroom of The Elite got a Season 2 announcement yesterday to everyone's surprise. The fanbase aka community is huge for the series. So it was met with a lot of different responses. However there's two sides to this and one side is extremely happy for the announcement for a continuation and the other side is skeptical of the outcome. Its a great anime from what I hear, but changed things that would a make character interactions very different going forward. Its very reminiscent of how the Tokyo Ghoul anime was handled in terms of canon and non-canon content.
