CloudBuilt Review for 8k Resolution Format
0This is a review per the request of the CloudBuilt developer in the 8k format.
The main points are the following:
- The resolution causes the scaling of the line etchings to be too close for comfort
- The resolution has a problem with the scaling of assets and characters
- The design has to be either reworked or remastered for 8k format to be viable
As I mentioned in the video, it is not the fault of the developer and will also add that 8k became viable late in 2022. This means that it is the responsibility of the player that have access to 8k to provide notification of the scaling and surrounding issues.
It is recommended to review the video on an 8k tv or monitor, and to request at a local electronics store to see the 8k resolution scale in the format.
