This is a blind playthrough/let's play of Portal Stories: Mel on Advanced Mode where I try to determine the minimum number of portals required to beat the game, making it a "minimum portals" challenge run! Because Portal Stories: Mel has many glitches resulting from the Source Engine that are difficult to perform, I will be keeping track of "Proven" minimum portals and "Theoretical" minimum portals. Whenever I state that it takes fewer portals than usual to complete a portion of a puzzle, it is considered "Proven" if I can demonstrate on video that it's possible at least one time, and it's considered "Theoretical" if I can identify Portal 2 glitches performed by others in the Portal 2 community that could reduce the number of portals necessary. How many portals do we actually need to beat Portal Stories: Mel? Let's find out!
