Comparing The Intros in Fallout
10Fallout 3's intro is one of the most contested issues with Fallout 3. With previous games in the series setting the player free into the wasteland with almost no tutorial. Fallout 3 took a separate approach by having a longer intro set in one of the universes vaults. The player lives through key moment of their life and gets key snippets to help build the world around them. As the player grows older they learn more about vault life and what might live outside the vault. So let us journey together through the first three mainline Fallouts games to determine if Fallout 3's Vault 101 is a good intro.
