Very recently (about 27th of November 23) there was a pretty interesting and big news about Jolla Ltd., the creators of Sailfish OS:
They split into two companies – one called "Jollaboys Ltd." and one "Seafarix Ltd.".
The first one will continue to maintain and develope SailfishOS as a privacy focused mobile operation system and will additionally focus to equip it with AI functionalities considering privacy as a main factor, the second one will focus on automotive software (App Support for instance) working on bringing an European law and privacy aspects considering software platform for cars (etc.) to the market.

In this episode I will briefly talk about the current events and about what has been said in the official sources about this split and why it happend.
