Cotton Berries | South Park: TFBW Bring The Crunch (DLC) Finale Walkthrough Gameplay
South Park: The Fractured but Whole is a role-playing video game developed and published by Ubisoft, in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios. The sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth, it is based on the American adult animated television series South Park and written by series creator Trey Parker. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 17, 2017.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole features twelve superhero classes: Brutalist, Blaster, Speedster, Elementalist, Gadgeteer, Mystic, Cyborg, Psychic, Assassin, Commander, Netherborn, and Karate Kid.
Unlike The Stick of Truth, the game allows the player to choose their gender of their character which will affect how other characters react to the player. The Fractured but Whole also features race customization, which is jokingly labeled as a difficulty level slider. The slider doesn't affect combat difficulty, rather how the player talks to other characters and the amount of money the player receives.
In March 2014, South Park co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker stated they were open to making a sequel, depending on the reception for South Park: The Stick of Truth.[6] A sequel, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, was announced in June 2015. The game is being developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, replacing Obsidian Entertainment.
The original title planned for the project was The Butthole of Time. However Matt Stone and Trey Parker were informed that the retailers would not place a product with the word "butthole" on their shelves. This caused Trey Parker to go back to his office and work for a few hours on how to sneak the phrase onto the game without upsetting retailers, and eventually settled on "but whole".
Parker and Stone originally announced a release date of December 6, 2016, during Ubisoft's press conference at E3 2016 on June 13, 2016. On September 15, 2016, Ubisoft announced on their blog that the game was delayed to the first quarter of 2017 because the development team wants to ensure that the game meets the high expectations of fans. It was also announced that those who pre-order the game will be able to download The Stick of Truth free of charge. On February 9, 2017, Ubisoft announced a further delay for the game, with its new release window Ubisoft's 2018 fiscal year (April 2017–March 2018). PSN has refunded all South Park: The Fractured but Whole pre-orders. PSN also removed access to the South Park: The Stick of Truth for people who got it as a South Park: The Fractured but Whole pre-order bonus. In May 2017, Ubisoft released a new trailer for the game, announcing the release date as October 17, 2017. Ubisoft stated they don't have any plans for a Nintendo Switch release.
