Ever wonder how fast scouts can capture the final control point of cp_steel? Watch the video. Dom covers his finding with the use of math and graphs.

---

Methodology: (so other can repeat the experiment). Bots were used. 24 bots were spawned in. Next the final point was disabled with a console command. The bots where teleported onto the point and then after the round started the point was re-enabled. Footage was taken from before the moment the command was input to re-enable the point until after it was captured. The times were extrapolated from the footage, meaning accuracy is down to 1-60th of a second (60 frames per second).

Here's the data in a google doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTqRH5FQl0iQ8GZ90YwH3VyeYK-j9ukPDqy_Dm9A39KwArZFuz8PjqEDYPbeQ9wR4ddzfmdPGQR6PxT/pubhtml
