Howard Loreid is back with more darkness and madness. Howard wasn’t that great shape after the first Darkness Within and now we are going to dig deeper. Maybe we get answers why Howard enjoys four days naps, maybe it’s something in the past of Loreids or he’s just as lazy as me.
Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage continues the story of the first game and mostly keeps the gameplay similar. There are few changes, and one major change is that you are able to move freely unlike in the first one. As the previous title this too is filled with reference to H. P. Lovecraft’s works and definitely has that nice Lovecraftian feeling overall.
