Day 1: Astra | Playing with every agent in Valorant each day | Verdict: Never playing her again
1Astra:
Ultimate:Even though her ultimate cuts off the map, it also does so for you as a player. The fact that we don't know how may players can be on the other side, unlike with other agents walls where atleast you ca hear their footsteps, makes the ult more of a liability. Might as well use Harbour instead of that.
All her abilites require some sort of investment both in terms of money and in terms of equip time. That equip time of going into the astral form is enough for the enemy to get a advatage.
The main issue with her abilities is that I can't see enemies revealed on the map even if my teammates did so, so I have to blindly guess where to concuss and pull them in, both of which aren't that useful in a gunfight, especially the pull ability which keeps the enemy still able to shoot properly.
Also the fact that they are only two and aren't recharged.
All through the map this though always came to me as if I am not contributing enough to the game in terms of my abilities. I kept thinking eve Harbor is better than this.
Other agents I would play over this:Brim: Definately, three smokes is very very useful in taking a site & his molly is lot more useful & even his stim and ultimate too.
Clove: Broken so much that needs a nerf.
Harbor: The wall that astra creates as her ultimate, I can do this twice every round.Omen: Absolutely.
Viper: Even after her nerf.
