11In this part, we begin Day 4 by returning to, and finishing off, the Sun-Speckled Terrace. While exploring, we get a Platinum Medal on Trial Run, get a Platinum Medal on Dandori Day Care, get the Blue Onion, discover Blue Pikmin, and spend the rest of the day raising the count of our Blue Pikmin.

- The Idle Counter creates a small window above our current Pikmin count that tells us how many of our Pikmin aren't currently doing anything and are just standing around.
- The Headlamp increases the range of light we can see with while inside dark caves.
- Dandori Battles are one of the two major activities in this game. The goal is to be as organized and efficient as possible in defeating enemies and bringing them, as well as treasures, back to your Onion as fast as possible. At the same time, we'll be facing off against the unknown leafling who will be doing the same thing. Whoever gets the highest score wins, however if you want a Platinum Medal, you must have at least 100 more points than the leafling. A good tip would be to try and interfere with the leafling and steal whatever he happens to be currently after.
- Dandori Challenges are the second of the two major activities in this game. The goal is to gather as many enemies and treasures as we can within the time limit. However, in order to get a Platinum Medal, we must gather everything.
- Due to being captured by the Red Leafling, many Castaways have also become Leaflings. These individuals cannot be identified and will simply rest at the S.S. Shepherd until we can find a way to restore them back to normal.
