Final Boss: Ancient Sirehound
Ancient Sirehound's Attacks: In the first phase, the boss will attempt to body slam us from above, which will also cause stalagmites to fall from the ceiling down onto us. It will also attempt to ram into us in all forms to eat our Pikmin. In the second phase, it will throw around snowballs which can snag our pikmin and scatter them around the field, it can also use ice breath to freeze our team. In the third phase, it will drop electrical traps to kill our pikmin and shock us, it will also create electrical traps around it when it is vulnerable. In the fourth phase, it will create a fiery shockwave that will ignite our pikmin as well as ourselves, and it can also create magma balls that will create additional fiery shockwaves if touched by the initial shockwave. Lastly in the final phase, it will fly and create multiple pools of poison that will instantly kill our pikmin if they touch it, it can fire a poison beam straight forward that will also kill our pikmin instantly, and it can also roar to send our pikmin scattering everywhere in fear.
Strategy: In the first phase, we dodge all attacks until the stalagmites are on the floor, then hide behind them to coax the to ram into them and disorient itself. We then toss pikmin onto its tail to knock it over and swarm it for a third of its health. From here we repeat the process until it goes into second phase.
In the second phase, we avoid the snowballs and run around behind it while its using its ice breath to get at its tail and repeat.
In the third phase, we have yellow pikmin disable shock traps when we can, then get behind the boss when it uses its personal shock traps to get at its tail and repeat.
In the fourth phase, we have red pikmin destroy the magma balls before they can create additional shockwaves, then get behind the boss (jumping over shockwaves if necessary), to get at its tail and repeat.
In the final phase, we coax the boss into using its poison beam and quickly get around behind it to get at its tail and repeat until defeated for good. It's worth noting that the poison pools will fade once we grab onto its tail and pull it down.
