Most video games use death as a way to contextualise failure within their game world. Often death is used really effectively to compliment other aspects of a game. I think that application of death is frequently overlooked so I wanted to shed some light on where its used really well in the hopes that going forward more attention will be paid to death and its impact on a games design.
