When I first heard about this game I had never encountered a walking sim and I was confused about what it could entail. Well, I am absolutely blown away by the beauty of this game as well as the story and the overall execution of it too, it is partly like watching a film and staring in the same film. In short I think this game is an absolute masterpiece, but I also think it wont be everyones cup of tea. Over the next few days I am posting episodic videos for this game, which are hours in length as there is a lot to the game and leaving some bits out is not an option (imo). At the time of writing this I have played for 23 hours and i'm only on Episode 4 of 14. This video takes a bit of a turn as your mum The President dies of cancer so you have only one job to do, burn the corpse before a voidout.
Total gameplay time for Death Stranding sits at an average of 60 to 140 hours depends on your style.
There are lots of FMV (full motion video) elements for the first 4 or so hours, there are playable elements too, i've marked them as such below.
