Cautionary Warning: I just realized from re-watching it at least once, some of the bosses flash a lot when defeated. If you or anybody you know has a history of epilepsy, please don't watch. I have problems with flashing lights now and certain games like Destiny 2, have a lot of flashing lights and camera shakes, so I am definitely more susceptible to modern games having more flashes. Although a lot of classic games did that as well, certainly this game, it is sometimes easier to watch older games versus newer games. I think I might include, if streaming more games, a photosensitivity warning, after the intro of the video or heck even before the intro, just because I don't just care about myself, I care about the people watching the videos. Yeah, I used rewind a ton in this playthrough, but I wanted to upload this. I streamed this Halloween night, and I thought it might make a fun video. Anyway, here is the Sega Genesis compilation version of Decap Attack: Starring Chuck D. Head, basically Halloween: the Game. In the vein of classic old world and movie monsters, protagonist Chuck, is a mummy of sorts, who throws their skull at enemies, hence the subtitle. It's a difficult platformer, and you can only take a maximum of four hits before dying, which is fair for most platformers. If it's a Mario or Sonic, technically you can only take two hits before dying, if you have a ring or a mushroom. Moving around is very momentum-based, and thankfully, as sort of a saving grace, you can slow down your fall, kind of like Tanuki or Cape Mario. The slow fall is almost integral to one of the levels in the game, because there is a ton of lava.
