Everyone is always looking for the best wonderkid. If you are lucky enough to pull a five-star potential star from your youth intake, can you really develop him to the superstar you want?

I took one wonderkid in 2025, and over eight years I turned a centre-back into three different players. A centre-back, a deep-lying playmaker and a winger. One verion turned him into the best wonderkid you could ever imagine.

We look at his development training, his additional focus, and look at developing the Ultimate wonderkid in Football Manager.
