So I bought Devotion form Steam the day after it released and then two thirds of a video later find that the developers have taken it down due to some controversy. Hopefully that gets fixed and it's put back up soon but regardless, I made a video and dammit I'm going to upload it. If you want my opinion on the controversy I don't really have one. The information on what the actually problem is can be difficult to find in a clear unbiased format. The Chinese player seem to be the ones effected but with how restricted the internet at large is over there and combined with the language barrier, the explanations I've read are inconsistent.

As for Devotion's quality as a product, I think it's fantastic. Before writing this description I was looking around at other outlets opinions on this game (a luxury I don't normally have seeing as most of the game review don't get much coverage) and it seems I may have overstated the ambiguity of the last half of the story. Everyone seems to be of the same mind as myself and I'm happy that others found the same enjoyment I did, I just wish you could still get that enjoyment.
