DFuxa Plays - Crown Trick - Ep 27 - Finishing Basic Game
0With my awesome daggers I feel pretty confident that I can rip through anything that comes my way - especially after I rip through Duae like a hot knife through butter.
I don't waste much time in the Realm of Kings as I head directly towards the boss. I do a monolith event and defeat the Demon Lord, but ultimately I try to play it safe and just get to the final boss battle.
Getting to the final boss I come up against the Crown of Darkness. I fight him in three different waves as he switches his weapons and tactics around to do battle. My daggers easily overpower him though and since I have ample health, elixirs, and blink charges I defeat him.
I head to the glowing exit, see my victory screen, and the credits roll (quite quickly), and that's game! There is a sort of new game plus mode and apparently an endless mode - but I've had enough of this game. Won't even bother going back for that missing lore or to perhaps see if I can find those enemies I had yet to see in the end game screen.
In regards to those credits, they are as follows:
"After the defeat of the Dark Crown, the Realm is once again safe from being devoured by Nightmares. Life is blossoming for humans and all creatures.
The witches have returned to their village, where they're working with villagers to treat various local diseases with their potions and magic. After the villagers woke up, they realized how foolish they were to blame the witches for everything. They rebuilt the Church they once burned down. They welcomed the witches back with open arms, bouquets, and smiles.
Frank has started a new research project in his lab. This time, he's trying to make a brand-new AI for those in need of physical help or company. Although not equipped with lasers or rocket launchers or anything dangerous, there will always be a possibility that robots one day will rebel against their masters. But that is another story to tell.
The sea returns to its clear calmness and everything at the dock is normal again. There was never a furious leviathan lurking from beneath the ocean. What they call the Rage of the Ocean is but endless greed for overfishing. Maybe mankind will learn how to co-exist with other species this time.
Even with the power of Nightmares, lives lost can never be reclaimed. Maybe part of the importance and value of Life lies within its transiency. After learning to respect Life itself, Vlad has given up on reproducing the past. He has returned to his post and duties as a Duke.
However, is this really the end to all suffering?
