DFuxa Showcases - Shields of Loyalty
1I received a steam key for this one via email.
Looking at Shields of Loyalty, I wasn't exactly sure what I might be getting. It said it took on the legacy of game classics - and reading the store page one can get a breakdown of all of them.
In many ways the gameplay reminds me heavily of Operation Citadel - but with a fantasy-esque cover to it and using a Might & Magic unit set. A rather interesting game that has a campaign setting - though how much more the developers will add remains to be seen (personally I was more of a fan of commanding orcs and trolls myself).
I did notice though that it was lacking in the keyboard department however - no WASD or arrow keys to shift around the gameplay map was present (putting emphasis on mouseplay). Still, not much to complain about.
