Far Cry New Dawn is positioned as a series of direct sequels to Far Cry 5. For those of you who are not too familiar, Joseph Seed - the leader of the super scary New Eden sect who became the antagonist managed to predict the presence of a nuclear war which in the end, destroyed most of the world's civilizations. Far Cry New Dawn takes place 17 years after the shocking incident.
But not post-apocalyptic, Far Cry New Dawn is more worthy of being called a post-apocalyptic game. Because it doesn't tell a story about how humans survive in an environment that is no longer friendly and habitable, Far Cry New Dawn focuses on human efforts to continue life and civilization, repeating everything from the beginning when the land surface turned out to be habitable dozens of years after the nuclear strike. . Wild animals and various plants find their place again in the Hope County ecosystem which is again the main setting. Of course, you can see a few cases of mutation here and there that are, fortunately, rare. You play as a character called "Cap", a security guard who moves from one camp to another to keep the community safe as it tries to rebuild civilization. But as can be predicted, a new threat has arrived. A militant bandit group with strong logistics – Highwaymen target this safe Hope County. Moving like pirates who steal and seize resources from one location to another, Highwaymen are led by a brutal duo of twins – Mickey and Lou. The main camp guarded by Cap - Prosperity is now facing its biggest threat. Conditions that make them like it or not, must fight back.
Cap and the Prosperity spearheads understood that relying solely on numbers and logistics at their disposal, they could not simply defeat the Highwaymen. The process of searching for intel finally uncovered information regarding a fanatical religious group in the north which reportedly has a solution for this
