Every once in a while, a title comes along that completely changes the landscape of it's genre, and in 1997, Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64 was exactly that. Taking all of the advancements from Doom, Duke Nukem, and other titles shortly before, and adding to it, bringing it into a full 3D landscape. The addition of objectives, more story, and a variety of mission types made this game revolutionary, not to mention it's iconic multiplayer. The question is, is it worth replaying?

It Feels incredible to bring this series back, albeit with some minor tweaks. This show started a year ago at an absolute low point and creative funk in my life, and really made me feel like I could make something special, and returning to it with the fresh eyes and better headspace now is an incredible feeling.

Please let me know what you think of the slight changes, as well as any games you'd like to see me revisit in the future!

I won't be sticking to the weekly promise of this series, but do plan on uploading SOMETHING each week, but a weekly install of this series when I have so many other aveneues limits the games I can play and leads to rushing that may ruin my perspective when playing through said game.

With all that said, sit back and relax, Replay Value is back.
