3After a long trek through this game, having seen all of the tracks four times by now (Normal, Silver Coin Challenge, Trophy Race and Time Attack), it's time to say goodbye to this game for now. Despite not being done with it officially. There is still the Cheats and Adventure Two to cover I know. But that will be done in Diddy Kong Racing DS once that Let's Play becomes a thing. And don't want it to become to much of a repeat compared to this project, so I've decided to leave a few things (most importantly Adventure Two) out of this project so I can do them in the remake. So I can claim that project will have some new content once it comes up. Now, what is it we're doing this T.T. Challenge for, because of course there is a reward. It will be the final thing for this project. See you folks in the next game!
Diddy Kong Racing is Rare's answer to Nintendo's Mario Kart 64. After the success of a 3D family racing game was proven by that game, Rare decided it was time they made one of their own. Diddy Kong Racing became a fan favorite quite quickly with new features like an Adventure, challenges in the Courses and the use of other vehicles other than just plain old karts. The introduction of the Hovercrafts and Planes in this game make for perfect variety while going through a wide array of themed Worlds with a colorful cast of characters who aren't just from the DK series, the cast includes characters we find in later Rare titles such as Banjo-Kazooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day. Can Diddy Kong and his friends help the young Timber get his island back from the evil Wizpig? Only if your racing is good enough, you can earn enough Golden Balloons to get access to the Wizpig lair. Get Ready! Go!
