I am flying an imperial cutter with such massive shields that it takes several minutes for them to come online; time we cannot afford as we are fighting in a Thargoid Territory.

In Elite Dangerous, you can reboot your ship and have half of your shields come back online immediately if you are kept relatively still and do not take any weapons fire, otherwise your shields stay offline.
The planet gravity pulls my ship down too quickly and prevents me from rebooting in the air. Landing is dangerous here, so I had the bright idea of someone else flying under me and attempt to hold my ship up during my reboot.
