Here, I'll be reviewing the spectacular Donkey Kong Country Returns in its 3DS remake, and discuss whether it's worth a buy if you own the original, and what the game does well on its own.

Fun fact: the game's title theme is featured in two versions in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U: one with vocals, and the other in its original form. Gear Getaway gets a remake in both 3DS and Wii U versions, as well as getting Mole Patrol and Jungle Hijinks in their original forms on the Wii U.
