I'm building the first and only Smart City Digital Twin of Downtown Memphis.

What this is for:

- Visualizing unbuilt infrastructure
- Visualizing unbuilt property
- Visualizing Real Estate currently or soon to be on the market
- Visualizing AirBnB properties
- VR Event Streaming for live sports, concerts and performances
- VR Tourism
- Meterverse Applications & NFTs
- Production Studio Assets (video games, films, commercials, music videos)
- Practical Simulations (disaster planning, department of transportation, new developments)
- Video Game Environments
- Marketing Materials for local organizations
- History Preservation (visualizing historical sites, architecture and events)
- Smart City Integration

I'm just getting started. That's a lie actually. What I mean is this is only the beginning. Two years of learning only to be at 1% completion (probably less). as I've been experimenting with Unreal Engine, using tools such as Sketchup, 3DS Max, RoadRunner, and a number of additional 3D applications to build this 1:1 Scale Downtown Memphis environment.

I plan to expand to bring all of Memphis into the project, but I'm primarily focused on Riverside Drive, South Main Historic Arts District, and Beale Street's Entertainment District. I added Liberty Land's Zippin Pippin (w.i.p.) and the Ferris Wheel just for fun and I do plan to add a historic experience of the MidSouth Fair (featuring the original Pippen)

There are a few things that are important to me during this process:

- Accurate Scale
- Accurate Materials
- Accurate Lighting and asset placements in correlation to the real world
- Accurate Roads System
- Photorealism
- Physically accurate modeling of buildings and landmarks
- Accurate representation of architecture

By summer '24 I plan to secure some funding or an investment to really get this project rolling.

I'd like to work with the South Main Association, Downtown Memphis Commission, Beale Street Merchants Association, and FedEx to give this project some serious momentum.

I'm also looking for developers, designers, drone pilots, photographers, and anyone working with game design, real estate, architecture, virtual and augmented reality, and someone who knows how to use procedural tools in Unreal Engine and Houdini.

If you'd like to be a part of this project please contact me at cory@growmemphis.agency
