I've been working on a game. It's something I've always wanted to do, that's why I haven't been uploading any videos for the past 2 years.
I was working on the concept. I'm using Gamemaker Studio 2. I'm still trying to get the hang of programming in GML but I'm learning a lot.

I still got A LOT of work to do, but this is passion project, plus I'm finally making the game I want to play. My goal is by the end of the year, I might just have the 1st level done and I can release a demo of the game the whole game itself is probably gonna take a year or 2 maybe even longer since I'm doing everything, programming character design, background art, animations...I don't have anybody for music though, but I know I site that can help me with that.

This game is called Draco the Dragon, and it stars the world's last Dragon as he tries to stop evil monsters and villains from taking over his world which is inhabited by Anthromals (anthropomorphic + animals) by the way. The Art style will be cartoony and won't be pixelated (I respect it but I want to do something different). Animations will be hand drawn, but won't be super smooth like most games, and the music will be based off the SNES/Sega Genesis era 16 bit. The goal is to make you feel like you're playing a 16 bit game but with modern cartoony graphics.

So yeah, I'm showing what I got so far. I'm mainly showing the animations and collisions and camera movement. The animations need work, but They'll be fixed in the future. Also I'm still trying to figure out tile based collisions so I can save memory, what you're seeing is object based and it'll slow down the game if I keep going with it. if anyone knows how to program tile collisions with 64 x 64 tiles PLEASE let me know.
