Previously, Davilas continued the Version 6.3 storyline, "The Tale of the Rise of the Moon with the Evil Eye". He investigated Jia Kuto's landing site south of the Badori Rocky Zone on Ogrid. He found a tower there, but the tower is protected by a ray that crystallizes intruders. Its latest victims were Anlucia and a team of Gartland soldiers that had gone to investigate. Davilas returned to the Folion Heavenly Temple to investigate further with Yuraiza and Fosteil. The holy water in the Purging Fountain provides protection against the crystal curse. So, Davilas took some Purging Fountain Water to Talint, who used it to alchemize the Divine Energy Crystal. Sawadiel, the pharmacist in Folion, used this to create a protective potion for Davilas and Yuraiza. Afterwards, Davilas entered the Dead Crystal Wilderness south of the Badori Rocky Zone. Now, Davilas will explore the Dead Crystal Wilderness and find a way to Jia Kuto's Crystal Tower.

Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan Housing Area on Eltona, the Elf continent. He is currently a Level 124 Minstrel. Outside, he checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyers!

Davilas takes the gate at C-8 to the Dead Crystal Wilderness.

Dead Crystal Wilderness (time 2:56):

Davilas starts at E-1 in the north. His destination is the Crystal Tower in the south.

As he starts into the area, Yuraiza has party chat around E-3.

He soon finds the crystallized warriors, including poor Anlucia. We'll help you ASAP, Hero Princess.

As Davilas approaches the Zoom crystal at F-6, a cutscene with Yuraiza takes place. The Crystal Tower's crystallizing ray attacks, but Rutiana's power protects Davilas and Yuraiza. There is a barrier with a creepy eye blocking the way, and Davilas must get rid of it somehow. The next objective is to approach the barrier.

After the event, Davilas examines the Zoom crystal at F-6. He sets a Zoom Stone to the Dead Crystal Wilderness.

Davilas examines the barrier at F-7 for an event. Three symbols appear in front of the central eye: red fire, blue water, and green grass. This starts an interesting rock-paper-scissors puzzle. Fire beats grass, grass beats water, and water beats fire. Davilas must choose the appropriate symbol to win the contest. In this instance, a fire symbol protects the eye, so Davilas must rotate to the blue water symbol and then touch the white light. This gets rid of the central eye in the barrier. However, there are two other layers to the puzzle. A snake's eye now appears in the barrier anchor at E-5 to the west. That is Davilas's next destination. Yuraiza provides a review of the puzzle rules.

Davilas explores the area on the way. On a middle ledge at F-5, a black chest contains a pinch of Midsummer Sand (彼岸の砂).

At E-5, Davilas examines the barrier anchor with a snake's eye symbol. This device has three symbols that Davilas must overcome: grass, water, and grass from left to right. He must manipulate three wheels of elemental symbols to get the solution. When an arrow symbol is selected, it moves the front row in the direction indicated. The ultimate goal is to form a line with the following symbols from left to right: fire, grass, and fire. Took me a little bit to figure out that the arrow symbol causes the other symbols to move.

When Davilas solves the puzzle, a scene take place. The middle ring in the barrier at F-7 disappears. A snake's eye appears in the barrier anchor at G-6 to the east. That is the next destination.

In the northwest, a black chest at B-4/C-4 contains a Rashaverak Medal (アンドレアルメダル).

On a cliff in the northeast, a black chest at F-4 contains an Earthquake Claw (激震のキバ).

At G-6, Davilas examines the other barrier anchor with a snake's eye symbol. This device has three of its own symbols: grass, fire, and fire from left to right. This one has a couple of arrow symbols to move the other symbols around. The goal is to form a line with the following symbols from left to right: fire, water, and water.

A scene takes place when Davilas solves the puzzle. The barrier at F-7 dissipates. Davilas can now approach the Crystal Tower.
