This is a bonus episode. Previously, the party continued farming for Seeds of Skill from Malicious Great Keepers in the Dundrasil Region. They finished filling out Rab's Character Builder and started farming seeds for Hendrik to finish filling his out.

After resuming, the party continues farming for Seeds of Skill. They rely on the Haulellujah pep power to get them to drop consistently from Malicious Great Keepers. Malicious Great Keepers appear in the Dundrasil Region while it is raining.

In time, they earn enough Seeds of Skill to finish getting Hendrik's last panel on the Character Builder. I think it's a pity that there is no trophy for all this work. Oh, well.

Then, the party Zooms to Gallopolis. At the Gallopolis Racetrack, Davilas competes in the final race available, the Black Cup. The Black Cup is unlocked as one of Drustan's rewards. The Black Cup is appropriately enough held in pitch darkness, so it is very hard to see.

Davilas does not win in his first attempt, but he does get a very good participation prize: Mini Medal #123.

In his second attempt, Davilas wins the recipe book "The Stuff of Legend". This contains recipes for Heavenly Healms and Legendary Armour. He also gets the participation prize, Mini Medal #124.

This concludes the bonus episodes of my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. I have greatly enjoyed playing this instant classic, and I hope that if you play it, you enjoy it, too.
