Dragon Warrior is the great grandad of JRPGs, the OG of OG. Recently went through it again after 20 years and I got to say that the grind got too me. While iconic, the pacing is brutally slow and its missing mid tier dungeons to break up the monster hacking. But those monster designs are still top notch.

- crazy old English writing (thou art dead)

Negatives
- Extremely grindy
- not enough dungeons and areas to pad out the middle portion of the game
- one character leads to small amount of strategy.
