There is an extended version if you kill the Talos faster, but my shadowplay didn't catch it. To get the extended version you need to kill the Talos before the giant ballista tears off its right arm. If you don't you get this cutscene. If you do nothing, it falls into the lava and dies and you miss out on this dialogue in general.
