This is, essentially, Diablo in space. It follows the same kind of style with large groups of enemies strewn about and a big ol' loot fest. The interesting thing is, while you are out there getting all ze loot the rest of the system is actually running itself. Other nations will trade, wage war, and expand without any player input. They can thrive and take over the whole sector, or fall before the combined might of an alliance that was crafted.
It's really a pretty cool concept. As a forward this IS in beta, as the menu will tell you, and some things do need some work. I fully expect this to grow quite well though and do think it's a good buy.
