There's no release date yet, but you can now sign up for the Beta of 'Dune Awakening', an MMORPG currently in development by Funcom. Apparently it will be the first Open World Survival MMO ever attempted.

In the words of Funcom: "Rise from survival to dominance in a vast and seamless Arrakis shared by thousands of players. Dune Awakening combines the grit and creativity of survival games with the social interactivity of large, persistent multiplayer games to create a unique and ambitious Open World Survival MMO."

At present there's not that much information on gameplay available, but there are some clues in the concept art.

Dune Awakening will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam).
