Dungeon Renovation Simulator: What Secrets Are Hiding in the Armory and Caves?
Welcome back to the second episode of my Dungeon Renovation Simulator Let's Play series, where we tackle the full release version of this exciting cleaning simulator. If you're into games like Viscera Cleanup Detail or Powerwash Simulator, you'll love this adventure as we explore and clean up the armory and caves, revealing their secrets while achieving that satisfying shine.
We begin with a quick look back at the alchemy lab and the prison, which we tackled in the demo. Although a little dirt remains, we press on to the new challenge: the armory and caves. The armory is dark and packed with junk, broken barrels, and old equipment, while the caves are equally messy and crawling with slimy webs and skeletal remains.
The objective is to restore both areas to a pristine state, starting by clearing the junk that highlights as red and setting aside the items worth keeping. I strategically organize and stack various tools and weapons, slowly bringing order to this chaotic dungeon. Although the trash and dirt counters don't seem to function perfectly, I focus on achieving visual cleanliness.
Using the trusty mop and bucket, I make significant progress cleaning up tomato sauce-like stains on the floor. Despite the dim lighting, I manage to uncover hidden trash and keep moving forward. The bellows and forge need special attention to remove lingering dirt and restore them to their former glory.
Moving to the caves, we encounter a whole new set of challenges with cobwebs, broken egg sacs, and leftover bones. Some tools, like the skull with tentacle-like features, are especially useful for sucking up slime and cobwebs from the cave walls. The cleanup requires strategic thinking, and I use the magic vision to ensure every nook is clear.
Hidden chambers and sparkling items hint at secrets buried within the cave. Although I initially get lost due to the winding pathways, I slowly uncover items worth collecting and ensure garbage is thrown into the portal. Despite the lack of a functioning dirt meter, I strive for a well-organized and clean dungeon.
Throughout the episode, the combination of mopping, vacuuming, and strategic trash collection makes the armory and caves much tidier. It takes patience and trial-and-error to identify which items should be discarded and which should be kept, particularly with the confusing color-coding system for junk.
The secret catacomb chamber adds a layer of mystery to the cleanup, and finding and unlocking it was one of the highlights of this episode. It hints at a much deeper story behind the dungeon, making the exploration aspect as satisfying as the cleaning process. I also discover curious artifacts that could be useful later.
Though the armory cleanup posed several challenges, organizing the armor, shields, and swords into neat stacks was worth the effort. Restoring these areas to their intended glory creates a strong contrast with the initial messiness. The magnetic stands and tables finally look fit for a well-maintained dungeon.
In the cave system, vacuuming the slime and cobwebs from the walls made a significant difference in the ambiance. Clearing the junk uncovered well-hidden equipment that needed to be brought back to the armory. This process added a layer of complexity to the cleaning that made the exploration more exciting.
By the end, the armory and caves are restored to their intended beauty. Although some items remain bugged or difficult to clean up, the overall progress made is clear. The spider cave secret leaves us with an adorable souvenir, which I attempt to bring along but ultimately cannot.
Unlocking the Castle Hall level after the armory cleanup sets up an exciting new challenge for the next episode. I can't wait to explore the castle and see what messes lie in wait there. Thanks for joining me in this episode, and be sure to subscribe for more as we continue this dungeon renovation journey.
