EA no longer shutting down Mirror's Edge Catalyst servers (debunked)
29In another typical "EA" move, it was announced that Mirror's Edge Catalyst would be getting it's servers shut down permanently at the end of this year. While this simply involves no longer having access to user created time trial events and world record stats, there was a deeper concern that the server closure meant fans would lose access to unexplorable areas in the map, as some glitchers/modders used the time trials to allow the community to fast travel to these areas easily. This decision was quietly reversed (or so it seems) and this video is simply a PSA regarding the good news.
