ECSTATICA | A truly unique survival horror PC game from 1994
Ecstatica released for the DOS PC in 1994, after ten years of development. An early survival horror game with a pagan folk horror story and a unique 3D graphics engine. With animation far smoother than anything on the market, it's a mystery to me why Ecstatica wasn't a massive success. For a game released wo years after Alone in the Dark, and two years before Resident evil, Ecstatica isnโt remembered anywhere near as well as either. But thatโs why youโre here ๐
