Final Fantasy VII Rebirth ist das bisher zweite Remake des Ursprungs-Rollenspiels aus dem Jahr 1997. Während der Vorgänger, Final Fantasy VII Remake, seine Szenerie noch auf Midgar und damit den ersten Akt des Originalspiels beschränkt hatte, geht es diesmal hinaus in die weite Welt, mit vielen neuen Gestalten und gefährlichen Monstern. Vier Jahre haben wir auf die Fortsetzung gewartet, trotzdem ist das Remake damit noch immer nicht vollständig. Ein drittes Spiel soll die Geschichte in Zukunft abschließen.
