Elden Ring - Why The Hell Is It So Popular?!

In today's video I tell you all about Elden Ring and why Elden Ring became so popular in such a short amount of time, Elden Ring came out almost 3 months ago and has sold over 13 million copies in the first 5 weeks of its release.
Elden Ring is a very brutal RPG that lets you create a character in the beginning of Elden Ring, that's as much control that you'll get in Elden Ring, right after that you exit a chapel that Elden Ring starts in.
Right after you exit that Chapel, you're greeted with 1st boss in Elden Ring, this boss quickly defeats you and then Elden Ring actually starts.
This looked like a statement from Elden Ring to us or a way just to show us what we got ourselves into when we bought it.
Elden Ring has been the topic of conversations in the gaming world ever since it released, other than the Souls games player base that was waiting on Elden Ring to come out, others got into playing Elden Ring through the word of mouth, a light survey done by GameIndustry.biz found that 40% of people bought the game after a friend recommended it.
In conclusion, I hate the Elden Ring but not because Elden Ring is bad, I hate Elden Ring because it needs a lot of hard work and commitment and that’s not why I play video games, I play video games to relax and forget about the real world that I live in.
But this doesn’t mean that the Elden Ring is bad, its in a lot of aspects, perfect, but just not for everyone, as is the case for other video games, but Elden Ring has a pre-defined player base who the game was targeting before it ever came out, the rest of Elden Ring's popularity as mentioned before came from players recommending Elden Ring to their friends and so on.
