https://www.patreon.com/ulillillia --- The bard is a thief subclass which means level 2 needs 1000 exp, the third best. Level 27 requires just over 150 million exp to reach. Level 28 requires just shy of 226 million exp to reach (it's always 50% more). I was originally intending on recording a video showing the fastest way to level up in this game, only to encounter a bizarre glitch where I level up from level 27 not to the expected 28, but 31. I repeated the level up multiple times and it seems that there's just no way around it. I have no idea what happens when I reach the next exp threshold of just shy of 339 million. This area yields about 1.3 million per minute or about 80 million per hour so that 113 million that I need will only take about 1 1/2 hours, not much. Will I get level 32, make another jump to some other much higher level, or will I not level up at all? Due to another glitch, a very annoying one, when you have more bonus to distribute than you have available for stats, you cannot proceed in the game any further as the game won't let you out of the level up screen (that's a bonefide class 7 bug there). And keep in mind that Jagar Tharn is only level 20. Me being 31 and climbing very quickly really, really says a lot.

There's another bug as well. Liches are supposed to be worth 125,000 exp but they only give 59,464 instead which is 65,536 less. That implies 16-bit overflow is occurring. Vampires, at least, give 67,500 as they should. This method could be more than twice as fast if it wasn't for that bug, getting 1 million exp in barely 20 seconds. The reason I avoid the homoculus is because it's only worth 13K exp. It's hardly worth the extra time and effort needed for it. A medusa follows immediately after where can, in rapid succession, just cast the spell into the wall again. The extra 70K exp takes about 4 seconds longer to get, but in 10 seconds, I'm gaining 238K exp so to keep on par, I need 96K from those extras. Worse yet, I'd be getting attacked a lot so I'd have to cast the shield spell a lot more which only sucks up more time. Ultimately, what I'm doing is, as far as I know, the very fastest possible way to level up in this game.

If I were to discover that I jump several levels again, I'll have to start another character, a sorcerer being intended. Instead of getting 4 infiniums, I'd get just 2. With a glitch that allows me to effectively skip the story beyond that of Stonekeep and having to check with the key individuals I need to get with, I could rush to the final dungeon on a level as low as 11 or so and very, very quickly rush to level 20 and higher. Sorcerers need 1200 exp (mage subclass) to get level 2. I know how to very quickly get rich so I can just buy amulets and torcs that raise speed so I can get effective bows, then go after a pair of infiniums starting at a level as low as 7, maybe 9. Sorcerers have a permanent spell absorption ability so I'd need fewer spells.
