Emery Dents Arsenal Title Chase! Premier League Matchday 33 Review
1Another twist in the title race this past weekend. While Man City beat Luton Town 5-1 at home, title rivals Liverpool and Arsenal picked up losses at home against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa respectively. Unai Emery returned to the Emirates for the first time since lockdown and excelled tactically to beat Arteta's side 2-0 away from home. Poor decision making and composure cost Arsenal who started the match brightly but unfortunately were caught out in the second half, with their over-commitment to grab a goal allowing Bailey and Watkins grabbing goals for Villa. Can Arteta rally his players for their second leg against Bayern Munich?
Elsewhere Bournemouth will feel down with refereeing decisions in their home draw against Man United, Fulham comfortably beat West Ham, Muric was on the wrong end of a goalkeeper error, and Spurs suffered a huge loss against Newcastle with Gordon and Isak shining with their counter attacking capabilities.
