ENDLESS Dungeon Review - The Final Verdict
Remember 2014's Dungeon of the Endless from Amplitude Studios? Imagine if that became an isometric tactical shooter with co-op support, snazzier graphics and more fleshed-out meta-progression. The result is Endless Dungeon, which sees players venturing through a dangerous space station in a roguelike fashion.
As you open doors and accrue resources, enemies will spawn, and you'll have to fend them off. It's all for protecting the Crystal Bot, but now the tension is more up close and personal as you fend off hordes of increasingly difficult enemies. There's a fair bit of strategizing with the running and gunning as you construct turrets and resource generators to even the odd.
Despite the overall combat being somewhat simplistic, itemization feeling underwhelming, and some monotony, Endless Dungeon enjoyably expands on the formula of Dungeon of the Endless.
