Want a roguelike twin-stick shooter where you can fire a gun from a bullet that also shoots bullets? Then check out this condensed version of the Cheapness affordable gaming review of Enter the Gungeon [Episode 78]

Enter the Gungeon is a roguelike twin stick shooter that's low spec and great value and was made by Dodge Roll and published by Devolver Digital. The full cheap gaming review shows how:
-Visually it has good, detailed pixelart that shows off some lovely gun fetishism. Sentient bullets shoot at you, the less guns and ammo specific bosses have been brought into the fold with well-placed puns and design (you fight a snake called Ammoconda for instance) and a lot of unique guns are usable! The rooms can feel cluttered though with the set dressing that's piled up on occasion (For example stacks of books that disintegrate at your touch and let papers fly everywhere. Sure that's very Hollywood and theme appropriate but it also makes my organizational gland shiver)
-Good rhythmic music that shifts from low intensity to high to keep the action flowing (If it can be ear splitting on occasion - it's a beautiful near cacophonous assault in its mostly electronic complexity)
-As said, SO MANY GUNS! A lot of them are weird (Want to fire an ant queen?)) And they can upgrade in a specific way when their paired item or items are found that can fundamentally change how the gun works (For instance the light gun will also start firing ducks)
-Which does bring us nicely to the fact that has far as I've played it doesn't seem to have story (Nothing overt really - some tid bits can be found out in the item descriptions) but the puns and references that the guns themselves embody are pretty funny (Referential humour works better when you can kill things with that reference)
-The arsenal size may mean that you find guns and items you've already seen or miss out on the pair which can be a bit deflating since being surprised by what this gun pairs with and how it changes the gun is perhaps the most exciting thing about the game (Especially since progress is highly variable and I've only reached the boss once in all this time - and I don't think it's even the true boss) - so there is some slog
-Great bullet hell gameplay but flipping tables for shields can feel less useful (I don't really want to stay still under these conditions) as can the dodgeroll but that's more because it makes you invulnerable for a moment and my occasional reticence to jump into gunfire made me miss out feeling real powerful
-It's very similar to the Binding of Isaac (However that influences your choice to buy) but the pair system may mean that there is less linear growth
