Telperion is more on the easier side of the superbosses, being able to deal hard hitting Bomb and Dark elemental attacks along with the ability of debuffing your defense stats AND having two turns per round makes it seem deadly... until you look at it's elemental weaknesses and find out that it's heavily weak to Bio (80% weakness on vanilla EBF5). This means one thing, Virus stall. Prioritize dishing out as much Bio damage as you can via status effects, use things like Invisible, Tired and Enfeeble/Curse to maximize the amount of damage Virus can whittle down every round. Alongside, make sure you have your Physical and Magic Defenses buffed at all time, especially if your characters do not have 100% resistance to Bomb and Dark. Even then, Telperion still does have some Bio and Earth attacks that can catch you by surprise so it's still good to buff up your defenses to recover from his debilitating statuses.

In terms of gear, focus on covering as many resistances possible, remember, Telperion mainly uses Bomb and Dark elemental attacks, with a small dash of Earth and Bio. Naturally, becuase you're using Virus stall shenanigans, there's also the Bio/Virus immunity/absorption that you need to account for as well to make sure that your own party doesn't suffer from it. Beholding Eye and Biohazard Blaster are great equips to use in this fight, since with the Bitey Badge, you can inflict Tired, Virus AND Poison all in one turn which can maximum your passive Bio damage. While you can also run Gaia's Gift and/or Obsidian staff on Natalie or Anna as well for Invisible coverage as well, although I prefer Beholding Eye as it increases Buff skills, which includes 7th Heaven, and can summon Tentacles, which can apply Poison.
